Laketta Brooks, TraceWrap’s founder, is a logistics-driven operator and Navy Veteran with a background in military supply operations, supply chain management, and wholesale manufacturing. During her time in the military, she worked in supply, where accountability, chain of custody, and asset visibility weren’t optional, they were mission-critical.

Before TraceWrap, she worked in Oil and Gas for 12 years and later went on to build and operate a successful wholesale candle warehouse, shipping pallets nationwide and experiencing firsthand the financial impact of lost and misrouted freight. That contrast, between how tightly assets are tracked in military operations and how loosely they’re monitored in commercial logistics, exposed a critical gap in shipment visibility and accountability that traditional tracking tools failed to solve.

TraceWrap was created from that lived experience, not theory, with a singular focus on protecting goods while they’re in motion.

Derrick Snow, TraceWrap's Principal Software Architect, is a highly accomplished technologist with an extensive background in building, scaling, and securing complex software systems. He brings a rare combination of deep technical expertise and business acumen to TraceWrap, holding both an MBA and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential, a gold standard in cybersecurity.

Throughout his career, Derrick has led the development of enterprise-grade platforms, real-time data systems, and secure application architectures across multiple industries. His work spans backend infrastructure, cloud systems, APIs, and intuitive user interfaces, with a consistent focus on performance, reliability, and security at scale.

His leadership bridges the gap between engineering execution and business strategy, enabling TraceWrap to deliver a product enterprises can trust with their most valuable shipments.

Roderick Braden, TraceWrap's Lead Hardware Engineer, served in senior engineering roles including Senior Lead Network Engineer at Global Payments Inc.and Infrastructure Services Architect at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), where he designed and managed resilient, large-scale technology systems that power critical infrastructures. At TraceWrap, Roderick leads the development of our next-generation tracking hardware, melding rugged, low-power electronics with real-world logistics needs. His deep background in systems architecture and mission-critical engineering ensures that our embedded tracking labels are not only reliable and robust, but also optimized for seamless integration and scalability across diverse supply chains.
